Reporting & Recognition

Reporting to the CBT
The CBT wants to hear about your project – what you have achieved, what you learned and what you suggest to others who are delivering programs in our region.

The CBT requires final reports from all grant recipients. They are due within a year of when you receive your funding. The exact date is noted on your eGrant Agreement (which you receive through our Online Granting System, linked below). We also ask that you forward two photos for use in various publications, as well as on our website, so people can see the great work we are doing together.

Go to the CBT Online Granting System to find, complete, and submit your project’s final report!

You will also need to submit a Financial Report Template that shows how the grant money was used, which you can download here:

Recognizing the CBT
As part of the terms of your grant agreement, all funding recipients are asked to acknowledge CBT support in publicity and marketing materials. Acknowledgment can consist of inclusion of our logo on event posters and brochures, mentions in news releases, and shout-outs on social media. This acknowledgment raises awareness of the role of philanthropy in our region. By acknowledging the CBT, we hope to encourage more philanthropy and, in turn, generate more support and more funds for future projects.

The Clayoquot Biosphere Trust conducts and supports research, education and programs which advance conservation; build our understanding of natural processes in the marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and promote the health of individuals and communities throughout the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region. As a community foundation, the CBT has managed an endowment fund and administered program funding from the income earned from the fund since 2000. To find out more visit:
