Reporting and Recognition

When promoting a project that the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust (CBT) has funded, we ask that you acknowledge the CBT’s support by using our logo in your online and print materials and by tagging us on social media. When possible, please share the name of the grant you received, for example:

"This project was made possible through the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust's 2026 Research and Environment grant." 

By acknowledging the CBT, you help us raise awareness about philanthropy and sustainable development in our region, generate interest in supporting community initiatives, and encourage more support and funding for projects like yours in the years to come. 

You can acknowledge us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. When possible, we will also reshare your posts and help spread the word about your project.  

Need a sandwich board for your event? We’re happy to help. Simply email our Grants Team at grants@clayoquotbiosphere.org to coordinate borrowing CBT’s event sandwich boards.

Each year, the CBT creates blog posts and social media content to celebrate and highlight our grant recipients. To help showcase the impact of these projects, we’re always looking for high-quality photos and short videos.

Please send us any visuals you have as soon as possible. These can be photos or videos from your current project, images that represent your project, content from a similar past project, or even a great team photo. Simply email grants@clayoquotbiosphere.org, and we’ll provide a link for uploading your files to our shared folder.

Thank you for helping us share the stories and successes of your work with the community.

Upon project completion, all grantees are responsible for communicating with the CBT team about how the project went. 

As part of our flexible approach to funding, we are open to multiple reporting options best suited for for your grant and project including: 

• Complete standard form in the "Follow-Up" tab of our online portal
• Send CBT a video of your project
• Story style submission with pictures
• CBT Staff attend project and complete report in person
• Conversation with CBT Staff
• Send CBT your internal organization report
