Join us for the Clayoquot sound UNESCO Biosphere Region BioBlitz!

Location: Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region (Various locations)
You can help launch our project by searching for the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region BioBlitz 2023 on iNaturalist and selecting "join" at the top of the project page. All observations will be automatically included in this project if your autogenerated coordinates are within the Bioregion.
This project will help collect baseline information on the diversity of species present within the Bioregion. Observations can help guide research questions, restoration projects, and other conservation initiatives.
FREE Guided Nature Walks - May 22, 2023, from 12-1 PM
- Please arrive at the meeting location at 11:45
- All walks are taking place at the same time in various locations; choose your favorite trail and join one of the knowledgeable naturalists to learn more about the biodiversity in the area.
Wild Pacific Trail Walk

Tonquin Trail Walk
- Hosted by the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust
- Meet at the trailhead on Tonquin Park Road
Tofino Mudflats (Key Biodiversity Area)
- Hosted by the Raincoast Education Society
- Meet at the Hotel Zed parking lot
